Renewable energy - the future is here

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and MillerCoors present "Renewable Energy - The Future is Here," a free symposium on Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. in MSOE's Todd Wehr Conference Center, 1047 N. Broadway.  Register online by Oct. 17.

In April of 2007 the Office of Energy Independence (OEI) was created to lead Wisconsin's effort to advance clean energy and bioproducts. The OEI is committed to supporting Wisconsin's goal of generating 25% of its electric power and transportation fuels from renewable resources by 2025. Where are we today? What are current projections for solar electric photovoltaics, wind and biomass contributions to renewable energy goals? How can renewable energy be integrated into commercial buildings?
