Student-built ornament on display at state capitol

MSOE has been invited to design and build an ornament that will hang on a tree in the Governor's executive residence in Madison, Wis. The Governor and Mrs. Doyle have named one of the trees this year, "Deck the Halls," which highlights the contributions of Wisconsin's schools of higher education. Architectural engineering students designed the moving ornament to be representative of MSOE. Each December guests are invited to tour Wisconsin's Executive Residence to see evergreen trees adorned with ornaments from students, community members and businesses across the state. This Wisconsin tradition brings thousands of people to the Executive Residence each year. Visit
