WMSE 91.7FM to air holiday-themed programs

WMSE 91.7FM will air three special holiday-themed programs. Listeners can tune in on the radio or online at www.wmse.org . On Friday, Dec. 19 from noon to 3 p.m., DJ Buzz will feature holiday-themed garage rock and punk songs on his weekly Buzz's Garage program.

Christmas Eve will feature the "Two Paul's of Christmas." On Wednesday, Dec. 24, local legend Paul Cebar will transform his 9a.m. to noon show into an eclectic mix of holiday-themed music from around the world. Immediately following Paul Cebar's show, Paul Host will take over for his 27th year of Christmas Eve marathon programming.

From noon to 9 p.m., Host will be playing some of the rarest and hard-to-find Christmas tunes ever recorded. Host's selection of Christmas tunes spans the globe, representing virtually every genre and format WMSE plays, ranging from rock to reggae to soul to punk and more.
