Make plans now to attend Summer in the City, MSOE's annual alumni reunion, July 10-12.
Reunite with old friends and meet fellow MSOE alumni during the fun-filled reunion weekend. Take a tour of the Harley-Davidson Museum led by members of Harley-Davidson's engineering department and archives staff; attend seminars by the Rader School of Business faculty; enjoy a picnic at the Murphy House in Belgium, Wis.; tour the Grohmann Museum; and relax on a fiesta and margarita cruise.
After a six year hiatus, the Great Circus Parade returns to downtown Milwaukee with a full line-up of clowns, horse drawn wagons, bands, circus animals and more! Reserved seating will be available for MSOE alumni.
The classes of '59 and '84 from MSOE and MCGHSN will be honored, as will MSOE Regent John E. Duncan ‘79, who will receive the Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award. Duncan is the president of Off-Road Driveline Technology and Axle Systems for ZF Group North American Operations.
Duncan chose to get his Associate of Applied Science degree in Fluid Power Engineering Technology and his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from MSOE because of its reputation as a leader in fluid power education. "At MSOE I received a very practical education," he noted. "I received hands-on practice at one of the most recognized fluid power programs in the nation and eventually became a Fellow and worked at the Fluid Power Institute." In his free time, Duncan enjoys riding his motorcycle with MSOE's Executive Motorcycle Group and enjoys spending time with his wife Beth, children and grandchildren.
