RSC kicks off on Thursday, July 15 at Turner Hall Ballroom with a performance by Liars. Also performing at Turner Hall are Neon Indian on Saturday, July 17.

Keep an eye on WMSE's Twitter account (@WMSE), Facebook Fan Page, and "On the Frontier" blog (http://wmseradio.wordpress.com/) for the RSC schedules and line-ups.

Four-day passes are on sale now for $25 each. Passes give fans access to each and every RSC show. Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets. Visit http://www.wmse.org/ for more information.

WMSE intends for Radio Summer Camp to bolster the Milwaukee music community by pairing some of Milwaukee's best artists with great national and international touring bands and musicians. "I know I said this last year, but the goal and sentiment is still the same," said Ryan Schleicher, WMSE promotions director.  Referring to the 1992 Men's Olympic basketball team, Schleicher continued. "I like to say that I hope Radio Summer Camp has a ‘Dream Team Effect' on Milwaukee. That team inspired young people around the globe to pick up a basketball. I hope the attention our festival brings to good, independent music will inspire Milwaukee musicians to take our music community to the next level."

"If you've been paying any attention to what Milwaukee is musically churning out, you know our city stands up to any other. Yeah, we've had some local bands sign to pretty prestigious labels, but the rest of the world hasn't even begun tapping our city's talent," said Tom Crawford, WMSE station manager. "Hopefully Radio Summer Camp not only inspires Milwaukee artists, but helps give them a little more visibility, too."
