Milwaukee School of Engineering students won first place in six events and finished in second or third place in six other categories at the 44th annual Wisconsin Future Business Leaders of America / Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA/PBL) Conference held April 8-9, 2011 in Madison, Wis.
The state conference and competitions served as a qualifying round for the FBLA/PBL National Conference, to be held June 22-23, 2011, in Orlando, Fla. By virtue of placing first or second in their events, nine of the 12 MSOE students attending the state conference qualified for the national competition this summer. Students earning third place awards are considered national competition alternates in their respective events.
