- In Memory: Firouzeh Keshmiri (12/19/2007) Only 48 at the time of her death, Firouzeh was a mother of three, an exemplary colleague and a great teacher at MSOE. She was the driving force behind many Womens' Connections activities at MSOE and was popular among students as well as faculty and staff because of her intelligence, humility and great sense of humor.
- Fall Quarter Dean's List announced (12/10/2007) Undergraduate students who have earned at least 30 credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher (out of 4.0) are on the Dean's List. Students who have maintained a 3.70 or higher receive "high honors."
- Fall Quarter Honors List announced (12/10/2007) Students on the Honors List have earned a term grade point average of at least 3.2 (out of 4.0) and are not on the Dean's List.
- MSOE offers executive leadership seminars (12/01/2007) These seminars designed specifically for senior executives will help you navigate the quandaries associated with high level decision making.
- Sleep and Your Student (11/18/2007) On average young adults require between 7.5 and 9 hours of sleep per day. Only 11% of college student's today report that they get the proper amount of sleep per 24 hour period.
- Open House scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1 (10/27/2007) Students considering MSOE and their parents can experience first-hand the warm atmosphere and high-tech learning offered by the university on Saturday, Dec. 1.
- MSOE student presents paper in Italy at international conference (10/22/2007) Senior Joshua Schultz is presenting a paper in Sestri Levante, Italy, as part of the Ludwig von Mises International Conference.
- MSOE's Engineers without Borders chapter picks next project (10/17/2007) This year's project involves designing and constructing a bridge for a community near Joyabaj, Guatemala, a village of around 3,000 people that becomes isolated during the rainy season.
- Hard Work Never Looked So Good! (10/10/2007) The beauty and tragedy of mans toiling through the ages is captured on canvas and cast in bronze and on display in Milwaukees newest attraction: the Grohmann Museum. The museum opens to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 27.
- Changing workplace questions answered through new graduate degrees (09/11/2007) MSOE announces three new graduate degrees aimed at helping professionals meet the needs of their changing industries. The advanced degrees help employees meet the demands placed on them due to changes in the workplace, such as increased market competitiveness, globalization and an aging population.

- MSOES Chappell named Division III All-American in heptathlon (06/08/2007) Catherine Chappell took fifth overall in the heptathlon at the NCAA D-III Track and Field national championships, earning her a second All-American honor. In March she was named an All American in basketball. She is one of only seven MSOE athletes to achieve All American status.
- MSOE welcomes research undergrads to campus (06/04/2007) MSOE welcomes nine undergrads from across the country to campus for unique research experiences in two of our specialties rapid prototyping and fluid power technologies.
- Chappell to compete in NCAA track championships (05/21/2007) Senior Catherine Chappell will compete in the heptathalon at the NCAA Division III Womens Track and Field championships May 24-26 at Titan Stadium, UW-Oshkosh. A basketball All-American, Chappell will take her electrical engineering degree and Air Force ROTC experience to flight school after she graduates in February 2008.
- Spring Commencement features two business leaders (05/17/2007) Spring Commencement will feature keynote addresses by two of Wisconsins leading business people and supporters of education: George W. Mead II and Susan Feith. More than 300 undergraduate and 35 graduate students will receive their diplomas at the Saturday, May 26 ceremony at the Kern Center.
- WMSE recognized by Wisconsin music association (05/10/2007) Radio station WMSE was recognized for its contribution to the state's diverse music scene at the 27th Annual WAMI Awards Show.
- MSOE adds two All Americans to its ranks! (03/31/2007) Hockey senior Brian Soik and basketball senior Catherine Chappell are the fifth and sixth All Americans in the university's history.
