- MSOE women's basketball competes for "Red Rivalry Cup" Saturday (01/17/2011) The competition between Alverno College and MSOE's women's basketball teams now has extra incentive to it. In addition to the crosstown rivalry--a mere seven miles apart in the city of Milwaukee--and the conference rivalry--both are members of the Northern Athletics Conference--the teams will now play for the Red Rivalry Cup for the first time this Saturday.
