            <description>The 2009 men&#146;s soccer season has been a banner year for the Raiders and Head Coach Jimmy Banks. In the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) preseason poll, the conference coaches predicted MSOE to finish fifth, but Banks and the Raiders exceeded everyone&#146;s expectations, completing the regular season with a 9-1-1 NAC. </description>

Individually for the Raiders, Tim Carlson led the team with a time of 27:26, placing ninth among the field of 98 runners. Carlson was followed by teammates Zak Lutz (27:36, 11th), Jay Stasiak (27:45,13th) Ben Bichler (28:07,18th) and Robert Kester (28:36, 28).

Zach Sheils of Wisconsin Lutheran won the 8-kilometer event with a time of 26:01, followed closely by Jason Smith of Ripon (26:12) and Andy Ashenden (26:28) of Concordia-Wisconsin.
