What scholarships does MSOE offer?
MSOE offers a merit scholarship to all accepted undergraduate students. It is based on a student's major, GPA and test score(s). It can range from $6,000/year to $12,000/year. MSOE also offers the Presidential Scholarship, which is a scholarship awarding four years of full tuition. A student needs a minimum 3.8 cumulative GPA and 28 or higher composite score on the ACT (1240 SAT) and he/she must be accepted by Feb. 1 of the year he/she is going to enroll.

Is there housing on campus?
Yes, the university has two 12-story coed residence halls and one upper classmen's coed residence hall.
Are there internship opportunities for my son or daughter?
MSOE's location places us in the midst of many internship and employment opportunities. The MSOE Career Services Department is an excellent place to find help in searching for internships. They will begin working with your student in the freshman year.
Is there a tutoring center on campus?
Yes, the Learning Resource Center provides this service and more for current MSOE students. There also is a student organization [link to TOM] that provides tutoring to underclassmen.
Where can my son/daughter get books and school supplies?
The university has a campus Bookstore. It is located on the third floor of the Cudahy Student Center.

Does MSOE have a health center/work-out facility for current students?
Yes, the Kern Center is the university's health and wellness center. It has a workout facility, gymnasium, field house and ice arena. The facility also is home to a nurse, counseling services and athletic coaches' offices. Current students, staff and faculty are able to use it for free.
Are there opportunities for my son/daughter to participate in clubs, etc?
Yes, the Student Life Office offers approximately 70 different clubs and organizations for students to join.
Does my child have to use the laptop that MSOE provides?
Yes, the university has a Technology Package (mandatory laptop program) for current students. The package includes more than just the laptop. For more details, go here .
Can my son/daughter pursue a graduate degree at MSOE?
Absolutely, in fact, they may not have to wait until they have earned a B.S. degree to start it. MSOE offers several programs that may be taken as dual degrees. The M.S. degrees offered by MSOE include engineering, engineering management, marketing and export management, new product management, structural engineering, medical informatics, perfusion and cardiovascular studies.
