Hi Paige, we are so happy that you will be visiting tomorrow. No need to feel nervous, we have a great day planned and the full Admission Team will be around to guide you through. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with current MSOE students, as well as your Admission Counselor Mandy Runnalls. In the meantime don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions. Otherwise we look forward to you tomorrow.
Sounds great. Just one of my first college visits and I wasn't planning on going away to college, but I want to get out of this state. Hahaha. I guess it's just going to be the feeling of a new enviorment. I hate high school so I hope college is way better. (:
I completely understand how you feel Paige. MSOE was the first college I visited and I'm from NY so there was definitely a distance between here and home for me. But Admissions definitely will make you feel welcome and you will have a good day tomorrow, I know they did for me :)
Thanks, Yeah i'm not that far away. I'm just in IL but I love the Green Bay Packers so everyone messes with me and says I should move to Wisconsin (: Thanks I hope soo! I hope I make friends Just one thing I'm going to miss big time is Cheerleading ):
I actually know a girl that is from Chicago IL that has always been a Packers fan (her family are all Bears fan, so they pick on her too) and is at MSOE studying Industrial, but you'll fit in here :) We have a stunt team that is very similar to Cheerleading and we also have a dance team that you can participate in as well, so you wont be completely without cheerleading.
But the thing is what if i don't make it.. That's my biggest fear. And yes my family picks on me and the people I work with. I hope I fit in, I just don't want it to feel like high school cause like I said I hate high school. I have no friends nothing. But I hope I make the teams to be still apart of cheerleading also.
Hi Paige, Definitely there is no need to be nervous fro coming to visit campus tomorrow. I just started here as a freshmen and everything is great. Visit days are a great way to get to know more about campus and meet some really great people. :) I remember when I first came to visit I was really nervous about it too. After the presentation and talking with the students and admissions staff, I knew that it is the right place for me . :)
Thank you (: I love the help.. Just going to be nervous because I haven't fully got excepted yet.. ): and just hope I feel that way. I'm nervous also because i'm trying to get into the Navy NROTC program but I have to get my english ACT score up and this school involves or somewhat goes with it. I just hope i'm going to make the right choice (: And it would be cool to be in a sorority if they have them. and if that's what there called.
Hi Paige, I'm looking forward to meeting with you tomorrow! Please don't be nervous, we like to work very closely with our students and make sure that they understand all of their options! I'll see you at check in :)
