We're gearing up for the Health Fair at the Walter Schroeder Library. We've got the books for our yearly drawing all set to go. There's even a health display up with books and DVDs that can help you look and feel better.

Just started reading Let's Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir) by Jenny Lawson. This book is definitely not for the squeamish, missish, or prudish. If you are not ish-y & are not phased much by swears, this book is hilarious. I'm only a couple chapters in, but I've laughed out loud several times. You'll know you've got the right book if you see a mouse version of Hamlet on the front. Yep, you heard me.

I am collecting pennies in support of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra and the United Performing Arts Fund. If you are tired of those loose pennies in your pockets or purses, bring them to me at the library (L201) and we'll put them to good use for a great cause. Thank you!
