    Hi,
    The connection on 6th floor is at times good for 5 to 10 minute stretches, but for the most part it takes about 1 to 2 minutes to load a page and sometimes even longer. Other times the connection is very weak and I am unable to load a page at all.  Thank you

    Michael, thanks for the information! The sixth floor is a pretty big place. If you could let me know if there's a room or area where you are having this problem, it would go a long way to assist in troubleshooting. I'll stop over tomorrow to do some additional testing.

    We roamed just the halls today and there are areas that fall between the footprint of the APs. I'm going to see if I can normalize each AP footprint manually before we put in another AP. I'm worried that more APs would compound the problem rather than fix it if they begin to overlap signals and start setting their own power levels (as they are designed to do).

    Apt# 909 has some spotty signal issues. It seems to be better by the window, but it often says that I have no connection in my room.

    the student workers of the network team are installing new APs at the door intersections of the reported wireless problem zones. Please let us know if your performance improves!

    Hi Paul, 

    The wireless connection in apartment 604 in the Tower Apartments has not improved since the beginning of school. I have sent a request into IT to have the Ethernet box activated. It appears as though we have 2 to 3 bars worth of connection when I log onto my computer, however, over this past weekend, the internet was barely working. I would get the infrequent 1 to 2 minutes where I would be able to have my email update or bring a web page up, but the connection would fade when I would go to respond to an email or do anything else on the web page. The wireless connection I have been connected to is the MSOE INTERNAL DOMAIN WIRELESS, and have tried using the MSOE connection as well, but that didn't help the matter either.

    Thank you for your continued hard work to resolve this problem. Please let me know if you need any more information regarding the connection issues I am having.
