My mom is freaking out about me wanting to go to MSOE. She thinks it's to far away *sighs* and she thinks Wisconsin is racist.

How are you?   MSOE is a wonderful school and I have been living in Wisconsin my entire life, and I don't  feel it is racist.  Wisconsin is similiar to any other state, and I been to many different states.  I would love to reach out to her if you think it will help.

OK! I will email her.   That is a great question for Landon Mara or  McKenzie Valley.  They ae both RA (resident assistants).

Living in the dorms is like having an extended family. There are roughly 35 other people on your floor to interact with, and living so close to other people it is easy to make friends. Since the people on your floor are either in the same classes as you or have already taken them then there are always people available to ask for help on homework. The rooms are pretty standard for college living which means that they are small. However, that is a non issue because the students (especially at an engineering school) find creative ways to make the room spacious and comfortable. You also have an RA who is available to help with problems that arise (such as roommate conflicts) and to plan floor events. Our job is make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience living in the dorms. I would be happy to answer any specific questions you have if this answer is too general.
