Biography: Tom is Director of MSOE's Fluid Power Institute which was founded in 1962. He has more than 42 years experience in fluid power technology, 40 of which have been at MSOE. Tom has worked on projects in the folloing areas: components and system design, development and evaluation; field troubleshooting; failure analysis; fluids filtration and contaminantion control. He is a member of SAE and IFPS. Tom is the Co-Chairman of the Educational Program for the 2014 International Fluid Power Exposition in Las Vegas March 2014.
