Ever wanted to play air hockey with a robot? Now you can with this project designed by four electrical engineering students. Their robot uses a camera and a microcontroller. The camera sees the puck and calculates its trajectory as it heads toward its goal. A mechanical “arm” moves the mallet to deflect the puck back at the player almost every time!
