MSOE’s robotic mining team is out of this world, consisting of 11 students with different majors working together to build a set of robots to compete in the 2015 NASA Robotic Mining Competition. The robots must transport and deposit at least 10kg of soil in under 10 minutes. It’s a huge challenge, and the team faces stiff competition. Ten of the team members traveled down to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to compete in the competition.
