Great Books - December

The Lost Symbol - book cover

The Lost Symbol

by Dan Brown
December 2, 2009

Please note - this Great Books session is sold out!

Dan Brown is back and so are we. The Great Books series had so much fun with our discussion groups of The Da Vinci Code that we decided to offer his latest book The Lost Symbol. What are all those secrets in Washington D.C. that waited for discovery by Dan Brown a.k.a. Robert Langdon? Who were those mysterious Masons and just exactly what were our founding fathers up to? We'll serve our usual fantastic theme dinner. Read the book and come ready to voice your opinion.

Menu

Appetizer - "Stone" Crab Puffs (This appetizer was not a common building material used by the freemasons such as marble or granite, but almost as hard)
Salad - Boston Bib Lettuce Salad (The birth place of this salad originates from the city Robert Langdon worked as a symbologist.)
Entree - "Hall of the House" Stuffed Gallus gallus domesticus (This "monumental" poultry dish was served to many dignitaries during the 1800s.)
Dessert - Key Lime Pie (This key will open many secret doors in Florida and beyond.)
