Can I begin graduate study at any time?
Yes. Though some programs encourage a fall start, students can begin most graduate programs when it is convenient for their needs. We offer fall, winter, spring and summer quarters. MSOE Calendar
Are evening classes available?
Yes. Most of MSOE's graduate programs are available in the evenings so you can fit school into your busy schedule.
Is financial aid available?
Yes. By filing the FAFSA, you may be awarded loans to help pay for your graduate education.
The majority of MSOE's graduate students receive tuition reimbursement from the company for which they work. For more information click here .
Does MSOE offer scholarships or assistantships for graduate students?
No. The only form of aid available is loans. Student Financial Services can assist you in learning more about alternative loans .
What if I need to take a quarter or more off from school? Can I start again?
Yes. MSOE understands that you have a life outside the classroom. Work with your program director to determine the best plan for completing your degree.
Who should submit recommendations on my behalf?
Recommendations should be completed by faculty who are familiar with your academic work and/or your supervisor who can speak to how a particular degree can benefit you professionally. The forms can be completed online here.
May I transfer in graduate credit from another college?
Yes. A maximum of nine credits of approved graduate credit may be transferred in at the discretion of the program director. You must have obtained a "B" or better in order for credit to be considered for transfer.
