Tier 1 Technician
The MSOE Help Desk technicians are responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to second or third level in accordance with Help Desk escalation processes. A successful candidate possesses skills in one or more of the following areas: Customer Relations, Time Manager, Detail-oriented, Excellent grammar and spelling, Domain or technical knowledge, Team player, Self-starter, Reliable and consistent. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and or technical problems.
