Is writing a scholarship essay a bit of an overwhelming idea?  You are not alone if it stresses you out and you don’t know where to begin.  Here are some tips on writing scholarship essays: 1)  plan on it being 2 pages max (3-5 paragraphs work most often),  2) make sure you fully answer the questions, 3) tell a story about you so that the reader will get to know you—explain your thoughts, interests, motivations, feelings, relevant past experiences, goals, activities, etc.  4) sound excited and interested but be honest, 5) edit for grammar, punctuation, clarity, spelling, etc.  Once you have an essay written you can often re-use it when you apply for other scholarships, but just make sure to change the name of the scholarship/company first.  See, it’s not as hard as you thought.  You can do it!!
