FLAME: Female Leaders Advocating for Mechanical Engineering
High school females are invited to explore mechanical engineering at MSOE alongside female engineering students and faculty. FLAME: Female Leaders Advocating for Mechanical Engineering, is a free program taking place Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the MSOE campus.
Participants will complete in a team-based engineering challenge and learn more about the diverse opportunities within the field of mechanical engineering. Exclusive tours of MSOE’s mechanical engineering labs and spaces on campus will be a highlight for all attending! This event is open to any high school student who identifies as female.
The program is made possible through the generous support of Generac and is hosted by the MSOE Mechanical Engineering Department, MSOE’s student chapters of Society of Women Engineers and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please contact the MSOE STEM Department with questions: (414) 277-7238.
