Coordinator of ESL
Katie is the Coordinator of the ESL program, in which she has worked since it opened its doors in 2013. As an ESL instructor, she has worked with students of all ages, from many different cultures. She has a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on ESL and a BA in Communication; she was certified to teach ESL in Barcelona, Spain in 2008. She is inspired by her students each day and is grateful to be able to help them on the road to achieving their dreams. In her free time, she loves to cook (and eat!), read, visit new places, and spend time with family, friends, and her dog Pepper.
Assistant Director of International Admissions
Kayla has worked with international students at MSOE since 2014 in the areas of international admissions and advising. She studied abroad twice during her undergraduate degree and taught English in Spain after college, so she knows what it is like to be an international student in a new country. She has a BA in Global Management and a minor in Spanish. Her interests outside of work include travelling, cooking, reading, and playing with her dog Norman.
Jude Coulter-Pultz has been teaching ESL at MSOE since 2014. He taught EFL for five years in Japan and East Asian Culture and Japanese for two years in the United States. He has a master’s degree in East Asian Studies and a BA in History. In addition to teaching general English courses, he works to prepare ESL students for math and science content at U.S. universities. In his spare time, he enjoys writing fiction, reading about science and history, and playing and designing games.
Allison has taught ESL to students age 6 to 60, but her favorite group to work with is college students. Although most of her experience has been in academic settings in Milwaukee, she has also taught in Chile and Turkey. She has a master’s degree in International Education and a BA in Business Management and English Language Arts. Her interests include cooking, hiking, dancing, music, meeting people from around the world, and exploring new places.
