Glenn Fung Moo

Chief Research Scientist, Director of AI and Machine Learning Research, American Family Insurance

Glenn received a B.S. in mathematics from Universidad Lisandro Alvarado in Venezuela. He then earned an M.S. in applied mathematics from Universidad Simon Bolivar, Venezuela, where later he worked as an assistant professor. He also earned an M.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree in computer sciences and statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003. His main interests are optimization approaches to machine learning and AI, with emphasis in kernel methods. For 16 years he has worked in industry (Siemens, Amazon, American Family Insurance) developing and applying novel AI and machine learning techniques to solve challenging industry-related problems.

Troy Mahr

Manager of Data, Analytics & Insights Team, Rockwell Automation

Troy is responsible for the architectural framework for Rockwell’s corporate analytical systems, supporting big data, IoT, and machine learning efforts. He has a strong background in IT, finance and consulting. He has led numerous ERP, BI/Analytics and Master Data Management systems implementations, as well as custom development projects. Troy also has shared services and program management experience from prior positions. Troy started his career as a CPA. He also has an MBA, CGMA certificate, PMP certificate and TOGAF Level 2 Certified Architect designation.

Saad Sirohey, Ph.D.

General Manager – Global CT Digital and Clinical Applications, GE Healthcare

Saad leads the digital and clinical care areas teams for CT and defines the strategy of digital transformation in MICT. Prior to this role, he led the CT applications team and held product management roles in CT and then in MICT from 2007-2015. He joined GE in 1999 as an imaging architect. He was the lead systems designer and later promoted to Principal Engineer for Computer Aided Detection. He has 61 issued patents and about 70 pending patent applications and numerous peer reviewed publications. He has B.S. in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park.

Doug Barton

President and Chief Executive Officer, UBIX.AI

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, Doug previously served as Director of IBM Watson in IBM’s Industry Platforms business and also held senior leadership positions at IBM Big Data & Analytics. UBIX.AI is an innovator in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data science. Doug’s latest work focuses on applying AI to process, product, and business model innovation and AI-on-AI to make decision intelligence abundant, reliable, and cost-effective.

Jeff Krueger

Director of Systems Engineering, Dedicated Computing

Jeff is responsible for the strategic direction of researching and developing new products and technologies that meet market demand and keep Dedicated Computing competitive. He brings 30 years of hardware and software engineering and product development experience including various roles within engineering, R&D, product management, project management, and data center operations. Jeff holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and an M.S. in eBusiness from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Additionally, he is a member of the Software Engineering Industry Advisory Board for MSOE and is an active mentor and sponsor of STEM organizations including FIRST Robotics.

Nithin Ramachandran

Director – Artificial Intelligence and Market Research, Direct Supply

Nithin is passionate about helping businesses leverage data science to construct profitable business models via intelligent products, services and platforms. Nithin has led initiatives extending across the spectrum including Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Market Research, Data Integrity, Research and Development, Sales Enablement, Marketing Strategy and General Management. Prior to joining Direct Supply, Nithin worked with technology consulting companies like Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and Capgemini helping clients like Transunion, Hyatt, Barclays and AXA monetize their data and serve their customers better. Nithin has also conducted research with the Indian Space Research Program, investigating heat exchangers, propulsion engines and fuel mixtures. Nithin also serves on the advisory boards of Analytics programs at Washington University in St. Louis and MSOE’s Rader School of Business.
