Corporate Engagement at Diercks Hall
MSOE was founded in partnership with industry in 1903. More than a century later, we continue to value the voice of our corporate partners as we "Rethink What's Possible" across academic programs. To that end, we have formed a chartering council to advise and guide MSOE in our collective efforts across campus.
The Chartering Council is working to inform the development of a community of practice to benefit MSOE faculty and students as well as the community at large. We are extremely thankful to those companies (listed below) who are providing thought leadership, support and guidance as we embark on this new chapter in MSOE's history.
The Chartering Council is currently studying opportunities to leverage the new capabilities at Diercks Hall to support changing business needs related to talent, innovation and supporting a community of learners as they integrate new technologies into existing/future business models.
“Dedicated Computing values the collaborative spirit at MSOE. Partnering with MSOE is about learning, growing and benefiting from each other’s knowledge and experience. “Interns and graduates from MSOE formed the backbone of Direct Supply’s earliest technology team and today remain a key source of talent for our technology organization and beyond. We offer student internships and project-based experiential learning opportunities to help MSOE educate students to become the absolute best engineering talent. The result is a virtuous relationship yielding great results for graduates, faculty, MSOE, Direct Supply, and the community at large. With MSOE’s Diercks Computational Science Hall and Direct Supply’s Innovation and Technology Center side-by-side, this virtuous relationship receives powerful and timely focus on applied artificial intelligence.”
