Every effective university recruiting plan includes boots on the ground - visiting campus for early, frequent, and positive interactions with students that will create and increase your brand awareness on campus, as well as your recruiting success.
Host an Information Session
Schedule an informal information session, where you're able to make a presentation about your industry, your company, its culture, and career opportunities. You'll be able to meet with students before and after your presentation, answer questions, and provide tips about how to stand out with their application. Many times information sessions are held in conjunction with career fairs and/or on-campus interviews. We'll promote your campus presence on our Handshake system (we ask that you post any positions for which you're recruiting, and we'll include on our promotional materials). Please REGISTER, and we'll send you a confirmation email with more details.
Schedule an Employer Information Table
We'll provide you with a table in our high traffic Campus Center to maximize your interaction with students. We invite you to bring your company displays, distribute promotional materials and "SWAG," and speak with students about your company and opportunities. We'll promote your campus presence on our Handshake system (we ask that you post any positions for which you're recruiting, and we'll include on our promotional materials). Please REGISTER, and we'll send you a confirmation email with more details.
Join our Speakers Bureau
Volunteering your time to present to student organizations and classrooms is a great way to increase your brand awareness, strengthen your relationship with the university, and do some informal recruiting. You'll also be helping our students with their personal and professional development. We ask that your presentation be educational with a professional development or industry related topic, but you can also insert a bit of company promotion, as well. We'll also try to add some informal networking before and/or after your presentation when we can.
When student organizations and faculty request a presentation, make the match and initial connection.
Please REGISTER, and we'll send you a confirmation email to let you know we received your request and provide you with more details.
