At MSOE, we know that visiting campus is a crucial step in the college search process, and that is why we are dedicated to giving our families the best experience possible. Whether you are a freshman in high school only starting to think about the future or an accepted high school senior ready to commit to a college, we have a visit for you! Personal Appointments:

Personal appointments are focused on you! During your visit you will meet with an admission counselor to develop your MSOE plan for success. You will also receive a thorough campus tour of our classrooms, labs, residence halls, and facilities. Accepted students have the opportunity to meet with faculty, coaches and anyone else who may be helpful to the college search process! Available Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. We recommend visiting when classes are in session. To ensure the date and time you prefer, please contact us at (800) 332-6763 two weeks in advance.

Open House:

Come and enjoy all that campus has to offer during MSOE’s Open House. During the Open House, you will learn about the admission process, take a walking tour of the highlights on campus, and interact with current students and organizations. The day will end with the opportunity to connect with our dedicated faculty from a variety of academic programs. Prompt arrival at 10 a.m. is recommended to fit everything in to your visit.

The following Open Houses are held on Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

FAFSA Filing Night:

Filing a FAFSA is a very important part of the financial aid process here at MSOE. Families of applied students are invited to attend FAFSA Filing Night on our campus for a brief presentation from our Financial Aid office, followed by some time to file your FAFSA on site with our Financial Aid experts there to help if any questions arise! Laptops will be available for filing – you just need to bring your financial information.

FAFSA Filing Night will be held on Wednesday, Oct 12 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. (or whenever you finish your FAFSA filing).

Senior Visit Days:

Senior Visit Days are designed for students looking for important steps and information relevant to starting the college search and application process. The day consists of an admissions presentation, a student-led tour of campus and the chance to meet with current MSOE students. Parents are encouraged to attend. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Please arrive at least five minutes prior to the start time as all events will begin on time.

The following Senior Visit days are held on the following dates:

  • Aug. 12, 2016
  • Aug. 19, 2016
  • Oct. 28, 2016

Junior Visit Days:

Junior Visit Days are designed for students looking for important steps and information relevant to the beginning of their college search. The day consists of an admissions presentation, a student-led tour of campus and the chance to meet with current MSOE students. Students will learn more about MSOE Summer Programs, Youth Options, and other resources to prepare students for the college admission process. This event is a great first visit for high school juniors as they look forward to their senior year and the upcoming college application process. Parents are encouraged to attend. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

The following Junior Visit days are held on Fridays. We offer two sessions: 9 a.m. or 1 p.m.

Accepted Student Days:

Are you wondering what it would be like to be an MSOE student? The admission staff invites accepted high school seniors and their parents to visit campus for a day to learn more about their opportunities at MSOE. During an Accepted Student Day, students will take an in-depth look at the first year in their major, experience campus life and connect with prospective and current students. Parents attend a variety of information sessions covering important topics such as financial aid, campus safety, student support services and more. Learn what MSOE has to offer you firsthand! These visit opportunities are by invitation only. *Transfer students are encouraged to set up a personal visit*

Summer Programs:

Spend a week on campus in the month of July and explore numerous career possibilities in the STEM, business and healthcare fields. Experience MSOE’s academic offerings, campus life, and downtown Milwaukee. Summer Programs are open to high school freshman, sophomores, and juniors.

Group Tours:

The admissions office hosts group tours for any student interested in MSOE or the STEM fields from elementary school to high school seniors. Tours are available Tuesday – Thursday at 9 a.m. and consist of a presentation by an admission counselor and a walking tour of campus. Please contact us at (800) 332-6763 two weeks in advance to arrange your visit or register online. More details will be provided when scheduled.

Visitor Information

Both MSOE and Milwaukee love having visitors. Whether you’re coming for a few hours or the whole weekend, there’s lots to do both on and off campus.

Guidance Counselor Workshop

Join the MSOE Admissions staff as they host a workshop for high school counselors. You’ll choose from different activity sessions, each focusing on different majors. You will also enjoy a Milwaukee River Boat tour, dine with alumni and current students, and tour the campus. Cost of attendance is $60 per person. Next workshop date TBA.
