The Senior Design Scholars (SDS) Program at MSOE offers high school seniors a unique opportunity to engage in real-world, collegiate-level design projects by joining senior design teams during their final semester of high school. Participants, who come from MSOE partner high schools and community partner organizations, gain hands-on experience working alongside MSOE students in fields such as biomedical, electrical, computer, mechanical, civil, and architectural engineering, as well as construction management.

The program culminates in a showcase event where students present their work and reflect on their experiences, celebrating their achievements with peers, faculty, and industry professionals. Many participants go on to enroll at MSOE, supported by scholarships that help them continue their academic journey. The SDS Program continues to inspire future engineers and innovators by connecting high school students with impactful, real-world learning experiences.
