The MSOE Raiders Athletic Program and Milwaukee Hamilton High School Athletics collaborated to create this event and give high school athletes the opportunity to play on a college court.

“MSOE Athletics strives to be a strong neighbor in the community,” said Bill Massoels, MSOE interim athletic director. “By partnering with the Milwaukee City Conference, we are able to bring future college students and student-athletes to campus where they can not only experience the excitement of playing basketball in a collegiate facility, but also be inspired to pursue their post-high school dreams.”

“We are excited to announce the partnership with MSOE and Hamilton Athletics to host the 1st Annual MLK Dream Basketball Classic,” said Bobbie Kelsey, commissioner of interscholastic athletics and academics. “The athletic department understands the value in hosting this event on a very special day which will allow for our Milwaukee City Conference and opposing teams to play on a collegiate campus while honoring the memory and great legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.”
