Money Monday Blog - Oct. 22
Welcome back to Money Monday! Winter Quarter is just around the corner! Don't put off preparing for the next school year, make sure you file your 2019-2020 FAFSA as soon as you can to ensure your financial aid is all squared away! Speaking of 2019-2020, if you're looking at scholarships next year, you might already qualify for some of the scholarships available on Money Monday! If you see a 2019-2020 scholarship that's asking for certain criteria, it means that it's asking if you are that status or eligibility for next year. That means if you're a sophomore now, you're eligible for the junior scholarships for next year!
If you are registering for Winter Quarter, talk with our Student Accounts Office to make sure everything is in order. Your account will be put on hold for registration if you have an outstanding balance or if you have not filled out a Financial Responsibility Form. This form, referred to as the RESPO, can be found on your my.msoe.edu account under Student Tab and Student Account Forms. Please allow one business day for this form to process. Any students in verification will have been receiving follow up from our office. If your financial aid is on hold for any reason, it means that your student accounts bill will not reflect it. If we receive all documents needed for verification, it takes about two weeks to fully process. Do not delay otherwise it will impact your ability to register for classes.
