MSOE AI Week is April 20-25, 2026
MSOE AI Week, a series of events exploring how AI is reshaping education, industry and society, will take place April 20-25, 2026 at Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute (NMDSI) is the presenting sponsor of MSOE AI Week.
Designed for educators, researchers, industry professionals and students, MSOE AI Week features speakers and sessions spanning healthcare, bioengineering, technology development and education. Topics include opportunities and challenges in AI implementation, along with critical considerations such as ethics, responsible use and energy impact.
Attendees will learn from experts at Google DeepMind, MIT, The Citadel, GAInable,ai, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Reveal Risk, Regal Rexnord and more through keynote presentations and panel discussions throughout the week.
MSOE AI Week also includes signature MSOE events such as the Rosie Supercomputer Superchallenge and an NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute workshop, plus faculty- and student-focused sessions on integrating AI into teaching and learning.
Event Highlights
- Monday, April 20: Charting the Future: AI, Careers and Connections — invitation-only industry panel and networking reception connecting employers with MSOE students and faculty.
- Tuesday, April 21: 2026 Rosie Supercomputer Superchallenge — student competition showcasing innovative projects using MSOE’s supercomputer Rosie, with cash awards and additional prizes.
- Thursday, April 23: Reimagining Education: AI, Critical Inquiry and Transformative Practice — symposium for K–12 and higher education leaders focused on practical, responsible AI integration.
- Saturday, April 25: Exploring Frontiers: AI, Innovation and Emerging Technologies — daylong symposium featuring nationally and internationally recognized experts and multiple networking receptions.
- Sunday, April 26: Post Conference Workshop: Fundamentals of Deep Learning, sponsored by NVIDIA — hands-on, instructor-led course designed to teach the essentials of training, optimizing and deploying deep learning models.
