The Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Center for Professional Education (MSOE/CPE) announces a collaborative partnership with the American Society for Quality (ASQ), a global professional organization dedicated to advancing quality, continuous improvement and organizational excellence.

Under the agreement, MSOE/CPE and ASQ will cross-promote a select group of noncredit programs offered by each organization. By bringing together complementary areas of expertise and addressing gaps in their respective product offerings, the partnership will give working professionals and employers broader access to high-quality, career-relevant education and industry-recognized credentials.

As manufacturers focus on improving productivity and reducing costs, demand is growing for professionals trained in quality management, continuous improvement and how artificial intelligence (A.I.) can assist in those efforts. This partnership between MSOE/CPE and ASQ addresses those needs.

MSOE/CPE offers industry-informed, flexible learning opportunities designed to help working professionals reskill, new-skill, and upskill in A.I. in response to evolving workforce needs. ASQ complements these offerings with globally ISO accredited recognized certifications like Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), Certified Manager of Quality Org Excellence (CMQ/OE), and more.

“We’ve had significant interest expressed by our alumni and our corporate partners in quality-related programs,” said George Kroeninger, MSOE executive director of professional education. “We are very excited to work directly with the recognized expert and source for exceptional programming in the quality space that is ASQ.”

“ASQ and MSOE bring complementary strengths to this partnership,” said Michael Byrnes, executive director of ASQE. “By connecting MSOE’s applied education in artificial intelligence and emerging workforce capabilities with ASQ’s expertise in quality and continuous improvement, we can address important market gaps and provide professionals and employers with a more complete set of solutions that translate learning into measurable business impact.”
