The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education have recognized MSOE as one of the top universities in the nation in their 2020 U.S. College Rankings, which provide students with access to a comprehensive list of 800 colleges and universities evaluated on their educational impact and lifetime benefit to students. MSOE has been included on their list since its inception in 2017.

The WSJ/THE partnership unites two powerhouses – the preeminent source of global business and financial news, and the leading global higher education data and analysis company with five decades’ experience dedicated to the field.

For the WSJ/THE U.S. College Rankings, universities were evaluated against 15 individual performance metrics, grouped into four pillars representing Resources (30%), Engagement (20%), Outcomes (40%) and Environment (10%). The 15 performance indicators were selected in order to answer the questions that matter the most when choosing a university.

The full methodology can be found on the THE’s website.   MSOE is frequently recognized by third parties for its excellence. See a full listing of MSOE’s rankings: msoe.edu/rankings.
