MSOE named a 2026–2027 College of Distinction
Milwaukee School of Engineering has once again been recognized as a College of Distinction. The annual list recognizes universities across the United States for their commitment to student success in a variety of different areas. This is the second year that MSOE has been recognized with this honor.
Universities are measured based on College of Distinction’s four distinctions—engaged students, great teaching, vibrant community, and successful outcomes.
In addition to being named an overall College of Distinction, MSOE received honors in the following categories:
- Engineering College of Distinction
- Business College of Distinction
- Nursing College of Distinction
- Affordable College of Distinction
- Private College of Distinction
- Transfer College of Distinction
- Wisconsin College of Distinction
New this year, MSOE earned the recognition of a Transfer College of Distinction. MSOE offers several smooth transfer options for students including many articulation agreements with area technical colleges.
Since 2000, Colleges of Distinction has been committed to recognizing schools across the United States for their exceptional contributions to higher education.
