The annual U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges Rankings have once again recognized Milwaukee School of Engineering, both nationally and regionally. MSOE’s engineering programs were honored as top ten undergraduate programs in the nation and the university was recognized as #2 in the Midwest for the fourth consecutive year. MSOE received 14 total honors.

MSOE’s individual academic programs were also ranked nationally including:

• #10 Undergraduate Engineering Programs overall in the U.S. among engineering schools whose highest degree is a bachelor’s or master’s (tie)
• #7 Best Mechanical Engineering Program in the U.S.
• #8 Best Civil Engineering Program in the U.S. (tie)
• #9 Best Electrical Engineering Program in the U.S.
• #11 Best Computer Engineering Program in the U.S. (tie)
• #193 Best Undergraduate Computer Science Program in the U.S. (tie)
• #243 Best Undergraduate Nursing Program in the U.S. (tie)

In the Midwest, MSOE received the following honors:

• #2 in Overall Rank – Regional Universities (Midwest)
• #5 in Best Value Schools – Regional Universities (Midwest)
• #2 in Top Private Schools – Regional Universities (Midwest) (tie)
• #1 in Best Colleges for Veterans – Regional Universities (Midwest)
• #2 in Most Innovative Schools – Regional Universities (Midwest) (tie)
• #2 in Best Undergraduate Teaching – Regional Universities (Midwest) (tie)
• #46 in Top Performers in Social Mobility – Regional Universities (Midwest)
