The Student Awards Celebration on May 5 recognized more than 100 nominees and awarded the top individuals for outstanding academic and non-academic awards. Congratulations to the following students:

Outstanding Student Award
Brooke Stanley, chemical and biomolecular engineering student, received the 2026 Fred F. Loock Outstanding Student Award. This award is presented annually to the MSOE senior student, who, in the opinion of the faculty, most notably combines an excellent academic record and has at the same time demonstrated leadership and professional bearing in extracurricular or community service activities. It is the most prestigious student testimonial that MSOE bestows. Stanley will graduate on May 16, 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from MSOE.

Stanley exhibited excellence in the classroom and in community through extracurriculars, athletics and volunteerism. She showcased leadership serving as the team captain for the varsity women’s rowing team, she was the founding president of the MSOE Premedical Society, and she was a participant and member of the Pilot Committee for the MSOE-MCW Health Professions Pathway Series. In the community, she volunteered as a medical assistant for City on a Hill, attended a mission trip in Ecuador where she supported community development at Hacienda El Refugio, and served as a student ministries small group leader with Spring Creek Church. She currently serves as an emergency department technician and health unit coordinator at Ascension where she also participates in an emergency medicine physician mentorship. Stanley will be continuing her studies and pursuing a Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
