Trent Nevill has joined the Board of Regents at MSOE. Nevill is the Vice President, President Asia Pacific for Johnson Controls Inc. In his 20 years of service to the company he has served in a variety of commercial, sales and operations leadership positions within Building Efficiency.

He spent the first ten years of his career working for JCI in Texas (San Antonio, Austin & Dallas) prior to relocating to Milwaukee in 2006. Most recently, Nevill led the NA Customer Growth Strategy to integrate the Systems, Services and Solutions businesses into a $4.3B organization.

Prior to his current role, Nevill was the vice president, NA Operations where he significantly improved year-over-year profitability, market share, productivity and cash flow. He is a 2008 graduate of Johnson Controls’ Global Extreme Leadership Program (XLP), and multi-time recipient of both the prestigious Chairman’s Award and Merit Award. He was also a member of the JCI-York Integration Team. Nevill earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University.

Nevill is a board member for the Architects, Contractors and Engineers (ACE) Mentor Program of America, a unique partnership of industry corporations working together to attract young people to the construction professions. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Construction Industry Roundtable (CIRT) and sits on the board of directors for U.S. Air Conditioning Distributors LLC.
