Environmental Health and Safety Assistant

Job Description: 

Are you interested in learning how a company's Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) department (that you may be working for when you graduate) operates? If so, a position is available to work with MSOE's Director of Environmental Health and Safety.

Activities may include:

  • Collection and processing of electronics, universal waste, and other items.
  • OSHA and EPA compliance inspections in areas of chemical inventory, equipment, and general safety.
  • Maintaining and cleaning multiple workspaces throughout the campus. 
  • All successful applicants will complete necessary safety training in areas that are applicable.

Disclaimer: Student employment is only available to MSOE students. To qualify for student employment during the academic year, you are required to be registered for at least six undergraduate credits or three graduate credits during each term of the academic year.
