Two MSOE students awarded scholarships at MCAA Convention
Congratulations to MSOE seniors Leah Hendricks and Andrew Palcan on being awarded scholarships at the annual Mechanical Contractors Association of American (MCAA) Convention in Orlando, Florida. Both students are majoring in architectural engineering with a specialty mechanical building systems and are a part of the Master of Science in Architectural Engineering program with a specialty in MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) systems. The two students were also a part of the MCAA Student Competition this year.
Hendricks received the William A. Bianco Jr. Memorial Scholarship. She is the president of MSOE’s MCAA Student Chapter. This is her second year attending the MCAA Convention and participating in the student competition. Palcan received The Reilly Family Memorial Scholarship.
Dr. Blake Wentz, chair of the Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management Department, and five students represented the group.
