Teaching comes first at MSOE. Every class (which averages just 21 students) and lab we offer is taught by seasoned faculty members who have an average of seven years of relevant business or industrial experience in their field. There are no teaching assistants here.
MSOE’s average financial aid package is $23,666 (gift aid only), making the cost well within the reach of most families. But cost is only part of the equation; MSOE also offers tremendous value:
MSOE also guarantees students will get all of the classes needed to graduate in four years, when they need them, if they start and stay on track in their major.
Most universities talk about offering hands-on work, but few can match the hundreds of hours of laboratory experience you will get as a student at MSOE. In fact, we have more labs on our campus than classrooms—and they’re all available to undergraduates.
The high quality of our incoming students enables us to offer them direct admission to their academic program, an extremely attractive benefit to students. They start in their major classes right away and don’t have to “apply” to a school or department in their sophomore year.
MSOE’s undergraduate engineering programs have been ranked 10th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. MSOE is also highly ranked by Forbes, Business Insider, Princeton Review, Payscale Inc. and others.
Four-Year Graduation Guarantee
