Welcome to the inaugural Cybersecurity Awareness Month at MSOE! We have a whole host of things planned to engage with the campus community to raise awareness about online safety. Each week has a specific theme with content, quests, and puzzles surrounding it.

Every week we will have a new task to complete and a new logic puzzle for you to solve. Your answers can be brought to the IT Help Desk or submitted to cybermonth@msoe.edu.
Learn about why you should report phishing, extending your own personal habits to better protect yourself, recognizing safe QR codes, and more. Our Threat or Treat! task will be "Spot the Phish". Our logic puzzle of the week is "Cyber Security Theater".
Learn about what MSOE is doing related to PCI, FERPA, HIPAA, GLBA. Bonus content how to customize your personal device's firewall. Our Threat or Treat task will test your knowledge of what data is protected and our Logic Puzzle will be "Right Size Security Clearance"
We'll talk about the security risks of AI Agents, the impact of AI on cyber attacks, and the new device-control agents that are appearing. Our Logic Puzzle of the week will be "AI At Large". Our Threat or Treat! task is still in development.
We'll talk about upcoming MSOE initiatives, phish-resistance, and the cybersecurity threat horizon. Our Threat or Treat! task will be "Protect with Passkey". Our Logic Puzzle will be "Track the Attack".
