Members of the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) community, including students, faculty, staff,
and other employees, as well as guests and visitors (i.e., third parties), have the right to be free from
sexual misconduct, including sexual harassment and sexual violence. MSOE supports a zero-tolerance
policy for gender-based misconduct. The University does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its
education programs and activities. When an allegation of misconduct is brought to the attention of the
University, and a respondent is found to have violated this policy, serious sanctions will be used to
reasonably ensure that such actions are never repeated. This policy has been developed to reaffirm
these principles and to provide recourse for those individuals whose rights have been violated. This
policy is intended to provide the University with assistance in achieving best practices with respect to
campus sexual misconduct, as recommended by the National Center For Higher Education Risk
Management (NCHERM). View the MSOE Sexual Misconduct Policy
