Disclaimer: Student employment is only available to MSOE students. To qualify for student employment during the academic year, you are required to be registered for at least six undergraduate credits or three graduate credits during each term of the academic year. Student must be Federal Work Study eligible.

Job Description:

Literacy tutor to local elementary students, K5 - 3rd grade, working with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, SPARK Early Literacy Program. Work at Milwaukee elementary school under supervision of on-site program manager. Flexibility in scheduling each semester but must be able to tutor at least 3 days a week, 3 to 5 hours a day, between 8am and 4pm. Must have means to travel to assigned school. Interview with SPARK Director required before hiring and background check required before start. Great opportunity to develop teaching skills, empathy, and make positive impact on the community and next generation of learners.
