Refund Policies
Refunds are processed approximately two weeks after the final add/drop deadline (Friday of Week 1) to allow for course changes and adjustments.
Refunds Created from Excess Financial Aid or Over Payment
All processed financial aid will transfer to your student account during the second week of the term. Refunds will be processed the during week 3 of the term.
Direct Deposit for Refunds
To have faster access to your funds, enroll in direct deposit. It's simple, safe, and convenient. Students can sign up for direct deposit eRefund through their Transact online student portal. If you If you do not enroll in direct deposit a check will be mailed to the current address on file with the university.
Refund Created from Withdrawal
If you are considering a withdrawal from MSOE, please look at the MSOE refund schedule and policies for return of Financial Aid. Make sure you have a full understanding of the financial impact prior to submitting a withdrawal from. You can contact the Student Account or Financial Aid Office if you have additional questions.
