Transcript Information

Due to the confidentiality of student records, MSOE requires the student’s signature to authorize the release of his or her grades. Therefore, a written request is required.

Send your written request to:

Registrar’s Office
Milwaukee School of Engineering
1025 North Broadway
Milwaukee, WI 53202-3109
Fax (414) 277-6914

Official transcripts take at least one full business day to process, however, delays of up to two weeks may occur at the end of each academic quarter. If you attended prior to 1985, there may be a delay as we are converting our paper transcripts to computerized records as the transcripts are requested.

Unofficial transcripts can usually be obtained immediately by presenting photo identification in the Registrar’s Office (CC365).

Transcripts can be mailed or picked up with photo identification.

There is no fee for transcripts. However, your official transcript will not be released if you have an outstanding balance in our Student Accounts office.

Milwaukee School of Engineering is in possession of the student academic records from the former Milwaukee County General Hospital School of Nursing (MCGHSN). Feel free to use the Transcript Request Form for requesting transcripts, but please indicate that you were a student at the Nursing School. Because we only have paper files from Milwaukee County, please include any other names that may be on your student record.
